About the role
As a Field Representative Equine, you will engage directly with new and existing customers, selling through various channels. You’ll assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions within the Maryland, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales proposals and conduct detailed presentations for effective product demonstrations.
- Plan daily activities, including customer visits, and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives.
- Monitor market and competition trends, relaying insights to senior staff.
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years of equine nutrition experience.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the territory.
Pay
The expected salary for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, depending on factors such as location, certifications, education, and experience. This role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
