Field Reimbursement Manager I & I Chicago IL

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager I & I Chicago IL to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote role will focus on supporting patient access and reimbursement education for healthcare providers and office staff. The position partners closely with office-based stakeholders, patient access programs, and internal support teams to help navigate coverage, reimbursement, and financial assistance processes. Success in this role depends on clear communication, compliant execution, and the ability to coach others in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct office calls with healthcare providers to support patient access to products
• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on payer landscape and reimbursement policies
• Distribute approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement
• Provide education on financial assistance offerings and enrollment processes
• Coordinate with patient access programs to understand payer requirements
• Address inquiries regarding prescription status for enrolled patients
• Utilize the case notes system compliantly

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in sales or coding and reimbursement
• Strong understanding of specialty drug reimbursement and government payment systems
• B.S. or B.A. degree required
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a proven track record in strategic planning and implementation
• Experience in a highly regulated environment with strict compliance adherence
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a compliant driving record
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including influencing and coaching others

Pay

$139,100 – $231,900 annually
