Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Florida
About the role
The Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Florida will optimize patient access to the U.S. Oncology Business Unit (USOBU) product portfolio by providing strategic reimbursement expertise within the region.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the patient access subject matter expert for all USOBU therapies within your assigned geography
- Educate healthcare professionals and practice staff on payer coverage, prior authorization requirements, step edits, appeals processes, and reimbursement pathways across all sites of care
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with USOBU Here2Assist HUB, Strategic Account Management, Sales and Market Access to optimize patient access and enhance customer experience
- Identify, triage, and escalate patient access issues, driving timely resolution through engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with USOBU Here2Assist HUB to update healthcare professionals on Rx status, program eligibility and patient support options
- Develop practical strategies to address access needs for targeted customers, ensuring streamlined processes and patient support
- Support onboarding new accounts by assessing practice workflows, identifying reimbursement challenges, and sharing appropriate patient support resources
- Maintain deep expertise in oncology reimbursement dynamics, including Medicare Part B/D, commercial payer processes, and state Medicaid policies
- Document all field activities in CRM systems in accordance with compliance and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field required
- 8+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry including 4+ years of patient access or relevant reimbursement experience in oncology required
- 2+ years of ‘buy and bill’ required
- Demonstrated experience in buy and bill reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, copay assistance, and HUB services required
- Launch experience in oncology for both oral and injectable products highly preferred
- Proven ability to build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders through effective cross-functional partnership
- Strong communicator, translating complex concepts into clear, concise messages both verbally and in writing

- Must reside in FL or live in close proximity to designated area of responsibility

Pay
U.S. based employees may be eligible for a U.S. Base Salary Range of $154,400.00 - $242,550.00.
