Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Your Expertise
- Build and demonstrate deep expertise in diabetes patient access dynamics, staying current on payer trends, coverage policies, competitive products, and reimbursement landscapes. - Monitor and Anticipate Shifts
- Continuously seek to uncover barriers in patient access and opportunities for process improvement. Use available data analytics resources to inform strategies and solutions. - Lead and Support Key Initiatives
- Partner with Market Access leadership to align holistic strategy, prioritize opportunities, and ensure coordinated execution across teams. - Own Patient Access Solutions
- Use a consultative, data insights-driven approach to proactively recommend tailored solutions to enhance patient access. Develop, refine, and simplify compelling patient access narratives and educational content. Deliver clear, concise training to field teams and provider offices on reimbursement processes, workflows, and best practices to strengthen their access capabilities. - Collaborate for Impact
- Collaborate with the field teams, coordinating on account targeting, customer engagement plans, and follow-up actions. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with HCPs, administrative staff, and other stakeholders. Partner with the field teams to resolve patient access challenges. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to continually improve processes, fostering a culture of shared success.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Deep understanding of reimbursement, payer processes, coding/billing
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships
- Demonstrated skill in educating in a professional setting (both colleagues and providers)
- Team-oriented with proven ability to work in a collaborative setting
- Ability to solve complex problems and take appropriate action
- Ability to execute market access strategy
Education and Experience
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Preferred field of study: business, economics, or health-related subject); 3+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement or patient access; Valid driver’s license; Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area; Requires regular business travel within a set geographic region; Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by territory size; Ability to lift, carry and transport 30 lbs, literature
- Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, MPH); Knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors; Prior FRM, reimbursement or patient access experience for diabetes
