What You’ll Do
- Lead Customer Projects: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and projects, ensuring successful coordination from quotation through project completion.
- Manage Project Execution Plan, organize, and manage proposals, documentation submittals, customer orders, schedules, and communications to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Cookordinate Field Activities: Direct and supervise on-site construction activities and subcontractors during installation and maintenance service projects.
- Oversee Documentation: Coordinate the preparation and submission of project documentation including as-built drawings, testing results, operation manuals, and closeout packages.
- Ensure Contract Compliance: Work closely with customers, subcontractors, and general contractors to ensure all project requirements and contractual obligations are met.
- Develop Project Scopes & Quotations: Prepare and review customer quotations and subcontractor scopes of work to support profitable and successful project execution.
- Support Equipment Installation: Coordinate equipment delivery, installation schedules, commissioning activities, and startup support for assigned projects.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Assist divisional project managers and technical teams with testing, implementation, commissioning, and final system acceptance activities.
- Monitor Safety & Risk: Manage project safety requirements, insurance issues, and overall compliance throughout project execution.
- Track Progress & Reporting: Prepare project status reports, conduct project meetings, and communicate updates to management, customers, and stakeholders.
- Support Customer Satisfaction: Build strong customer relationships while promoting the Division’s goals through professional communication and responsive service.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of: Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar inverter systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, IT cooling equipment.
- Project Management Skills: Understanding of project management, construction coordination, installation, and commissioning concepts.
- Communication Skills: Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and project accuracy.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project materials.
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
