About the role
This position is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and pre-delivery work on precision farming systems and related equipment for customer machines, internal units, and warranty repairs at a high level of quality and efficiency. Work may be performed in the shop or in the field.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems, components, and precision products in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot precision farming products, systems, and machine control technology, recommending and coordinating additional professional or manufacturer support as needed.
- Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly with equipment owners, operators, and the service team.
- Request, install, and manage all parts and supplies required for equipment repairs.
- Complete work orders and all required service-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain the highest level of product and technical knowledge.
- Aid in Precision Farming sales activities, including product demonstrations and customer training on precision systems and software.
- Proactively recommend maintenance, upgrades, or solutions that add value and improve customer equipment performance.
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
- 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
- Precision Technology experience
- Clean driving record

Titan Machinery provides a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The Precision Service Technician may work in the shop or in the field, requiring flexibility and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field.
