Responsibilities
- Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance on CAT diesel and gas generators (5KW to 2MEG).
- Use diagnostic tools such as CAT ET - Electronic Technician, SIS (Service Information System), and other computer-based diagnostic tools/software to troubleshoot issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal and external customers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls and gas and diesel industrial engines.
- Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
Requirements
- One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school.
- Minimum five plus years of CAT dealer experience and five years of power equipment industry experience.
- Knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls and gas and diesel industrial engines.
- Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
- Working in a safe manner at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
Pay
$33.00 - $56.00 per hour.
