Responsibilities

• Power critical infrastructure such as hospitals, data centers, manufacturing, and emergency response.
• Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance on CAT diesel and gas generators (5KW to 2MEG).
• Use diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET, SIS, and other computer-based diagnostic tools/software) to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls and gas and diesel industrial engines.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work independently with minimal daily supervision.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.

Requirements

• One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school;
• Minimum five plus years of CAT dealer experience and five years' power equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls and gas and diesel industrial engines.
• Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check.

Qualifications

One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school;
Minimum five plus years of CAT dealer experience and five years' power equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.

Pay

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $56
