Field Patient Care Technician- 1099

About the role

We are looking for a contractor on an as-needed basis to assist in the Abilene and surrounding areas as a Field Patient Care Technician. This role is the face of Proactive Health as patients join our service, often being the first to meet the patient in person, educate them on our service, and set up the biometric devices they will use.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from patient's homes
• Be on time to appointments
• Effectively educate the patient on Proactive Health's services
• Answer any questions regarding our service
• Set up biometric devices in the patient's home to monitor their vitals
• Perform a full patient intake including:
  • Medical conditions
  • Medical history
  • Current medications
• Document clearly and effectively
• Provide tech support and troubleshoot devices when needed

Requirements

• Over 18 years of age
• Driver's License & personal vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Pass a criminal background check
• Tech-savvy with basic troubleshooting skills

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience working with senior citizens
• Experience with sales
• Experience working in healthcare
