Field Operations Representative

This position is for a Field Operations Representative to provide contract engineering and technical support to operators of the General-purpose Electronic Test System (GETS-1000) in Kuwait. Initial training will be conducted in our Huntsville, Alabama office, focusing on operation and maintenance of the GETS-1000 and operation of Test Program Sets (TPSs). Following training, the Field Representative will be assigned to Kuwait for a minimum of one (1) year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the customer on the operation and maintenance of GETS and TPSs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot faults.
• Collaborate with CONUS staff as necessary to assist with solutions to technical issues.
• Track issues that occur with customer configuration.
• Provide monthly reports of activities and status of open actions.
• Replace station instruments with spares to facilitate calibration cycle.
• Assist in coordinating repair and return of instruments.
• Install system software updates and TPS software revisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2-18 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Basic electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Ability to apply fault detection/fault isolation procedures.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Able to obtain U.S. Passport.
• Able to meet U.S. Security Clearance Requirements.
• Able to meet the requirements for residence in Kuwait.
• Experience with the PATRIOT system (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GETS-1000 and TPSs.
• Experience in OCONUS environment, especially GCC countries.

Pay

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
