Description

The Electrical Field Operations Manager at RK Industries will provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for field teams delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. This role involves providing leadership and direction for all electrical field operations, establishing and maintaining field performance standards, promoting a culture of safety, quality, productivity, professionalism, and continuous improvement, and supporting workforce planning and manpower forecasting efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for all electrical field operations.
  • Establish and maintain field performance standards, expectations, and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, productivity, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key partner to Project Management, Preconstruction, Safety, and Executive Leadership to support business growth and achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive electrical construction experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of senior field leadership experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Operations Manager, or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, large field teams, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical construction methods and practices.
  • Expertise in labor planning, productivity management, and operational performance.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience with workforce planning and labor forecasting software (e.g., Rivet) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management technologies.
