Field Operations Lead

This position is contingent upon additional funding and is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Fairfax, VA office, supporting the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoD customer.

About the role

Everforth ECS is seeking a Field Operations Lead to manage a team of Field Service Representatives working both CONUS and OCONUS. The ideal candidate will be a former full motion video/GEOINT analyst, ISR Tactical Controller, Collection Manager, or military analyst with 6-10 years of experience in collecting, analyzing, targeting, reporting, and producing intelligence products. The role requires an in-depth understanding of multiple sensors providing data modalities such as EO, IR, Radar (Synthetic and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar), Satellite (Optical, Hyperspectral, Thermal), and operations, collections, and data dissemination associated with these modalities.

The Field Operations Lead will work closely with tactical USG Subject Matter Experts to plan and identify collection opportunities for AI development supporting multiple USG entities. Responsibilities include developing plans and pipelines for unit engagements, data collections, data transmission processes, maintaining relationships with collection partners, and tasking the FSR team to implement these plans. The role also involves acting as a program interface and change agent, providing feedback from users and partners to Everforth ECS engineers and the USG.

The position requires availability at least two days a week onsite in Fairfax, VA, and the ability to execute 10-30% CONUS/OCONUS travel per year. Remote candidates will be considered if located near and able to access a SCIF where ISR operations are conducted.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Field Service Representatives working CONUS and OCONUS.
• Plan and identify collection opportunities to answer emerging data requirements for AI development.
• Develop plans and pipelines for unit engagements, data collections, and data transmission processes.
• Ensure Field Service Representatives maintain relationships with collection partners.
• Task the FSR team to implement plans and pipelines.
• Work directly with customer staff as a program interface and change agent.
• Provide feedback from users and partners to Everforth ECS engineers and the USG.
• Brief and build reports that directly influence customer satisfaction.
• Use critical thinking to pinpoint key details and communicate effectively with DoW entities and the USG customer.
• Assist with data integration into one or more USG-owned environments.
• Demonstrate strong initiative and communication between working groups and teams.
• Relay and articulate information to varying stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones during high-tempo operations.
• Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment into information operations integration with inter-agency and intelligence community.
• Incorporate key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Business Management, or Library and Information Science with 4+ years’ experience OR High School Diploma with 8+ years’ experience working as an imagery analyst, ISR Tactical Controller, sensor operator, and/or intelligence specialist supporting ISR operations.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• 10%-30% CONUS and OCONUS travel required.
• Experience with a variety of sensors, including EO, IR, SAR, and SIGINT detection/identification.
• Prior experience supporting Special Operations Force (SOF) teams and work in Joint Operations Centers conducting SOF ISR.
• Knowledge of the DoW Intelligence Community & global ISR operations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with business, delivering impactful solutions and presenting work concisely.
• Autonomous self-starter with a passion for analytics, critical thinking, and problem solving.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in the customer space and managing competing priorities.
• Ability to operate in a fluid, high operational tempo environment with flexibility to change directions rapidly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to large and small audiences.
• Experience working with Videx, UVDS, and/or MI Online.
• Experience in collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process.

Qualifications (Desired)

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Advanced degree and/or advanced certifications in System Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or other related STEM fields.
• Experience in SIGINT capabilities.
• Experience leading and executing data projects in the DoW.
• Experience with the ATO cycle, including work at an AOC/CAOC/JAOC.
• Previous work with artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Experience working with or understanding of automatic/aided target recognition (ATR) systems and development.
• Knowledge of the Joint Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Sensor Data Transport Infrastructure.
• Previous work with Unified Video Dissemination System (UVDS) for distribution of sensor data to global special operations forces and other Geographical Combatant Commands (GCCs).
• Understanding of sensor data distribution and how aircraft relay sensor data via Commercial Ku, Commercial Ka, and/or Wideband Global SATCOM Ka satellites to ground entry points/gateways outside the Line of Site (LoS) footprint.

Pay

Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000
