About the role

As a Field Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional results while leading and developing a talented crew. This role reports to the Landcare Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train crew members; assign and oversee daily tasks
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met or exceeded
• Communicate regularly with the Landcare Property Manager on crew performance, production plans, and site updates
• Manage equipment and materials efficiently
• Maintain a “Safety First, Quality Second” culture
• Monitor labor budgets and production plans
• Conduct daily route checks and weekly training sessions
• Use proactive maintenance and proper horticultural practices

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of landscaping work experience required
• Proficiency in operating basic landscaping equipment, including:
  • Mowers (Walk Behind, Stand On and Push)
  • Weed eaters and edgers
  • Hedge trimmers and blowers
  • Sprayers for weed control
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license (or equivalent) required
