About the role
This Field Medical Director role supports clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery in solid tumor breast and lung oncology. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution, strengthening care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory plans to enhance patient outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with opinion leaders and healthcare providers
- Monitor and facilitate partnerships with clinical experts and institutions
- Engage with thought leaders at regional and major congresses
- Assist in identifying potential clinical trial sites and investigators
- Coordinate regional medical meetings and advisory boards as needed
- Provide valuable insights and feedback to internal teams on clinical trends
Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD, or DO with 5+ years of clinical experience in oncology or related biotech/pharmaceutical sectors
- NP, PA, or Master's Degree with 6+ years of applicable clinical experience
- Strong relationships with healthcare providers in the designated region
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across various functions
- Flexibility for significant travel, approximately 60-70%
Pay
$215,400 – $275,400 annually
