Field Mechanic/Technician - Heavy Equipment - Fleet

About the role

Responsible for operating heavy equipment and performing maintenance tasks to ensure fleet operations are efficient and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of related experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Pay
