About the role
Responsible for operating heavy equipment and performing maintenance tasks to ensure fleet operations are efficient and compliant with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- At least 2 years of related experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
