Field Mechanic

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication) on heavy equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs and report major issues to senior mechanics or supervisors.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one year of technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Experience repairing diesel and gas engines.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and fundamental electrical repair skills.

About the Role

As a Field Mechanic with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile heavy equipment and supporting plant maintenance.
