Field Marketing Specialist
Position Summary
The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) is responsible for driving brand visibility, lead generation, and community engagement across an assigned portfolio of venues and ancillary services. This role blends digital marketing execution with field marketing activation, ensuring venues are consistently represented within their local markets while supporting the brand and region as a whole.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Local Campaign Activation
- Monitor lead volume and engagement to identify opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with sales and operations to understand regional market insights and needs
- Support regional lead generation strategies across digital and third-party platforms
- Develop and execute campaigns aligned with brand activations and seasonal demand
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Manage and grow the digital presence for assigned venues across social media, website content, and key discovery platforms used by couples and event planners
- Manage social media accounts for assigned venues (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and compelling venue profiles across key marketplaces and partner sites
- Support website updates related to venue pages, event galleries, and seasonal promotions
- Monitor reviews across major platforms and coordinate responses when appropriate
Field Marketing & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with local chambers, industry groups, and community organizations
- Represent our brand at local networking events and community activations
- Develop partnerships with planners, vendors, and local influencers
- Identify hyper-local marketing opportunities that support regional demand
Content Creation and Marketing Events
- Capture authentic content that showcases venues, events, and guest experiences and assist with planning and execution of venue showcases and other marketing-driven events
- Attend select client events and showcases to capture high-quality, "behind-the-scenes" content
- Affiliate in the end-to-end planning and execution of venue showcases, ensuring a premium guest experience and overall successful event performance
- Manage the ongoing submission of event galleries and venue features to industry publications and digital platforms for local venue awareness
- Evaluate the ROI of marketing-driven events by measuring attendance, lead generation, and booking close rates
Marketing Collateral & Operational Support
- Support the design, creation, production, and distribution of marketing materials for your assigned venue or vendor portfolio
- Ensure brand alignment and clear communication
- Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, signs, and other sales collateral
- Oversee marketing/sales inventory to maintain consistent stock of printed sales enablement materials and promotional items
- Provide execution support for marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects, including new venue openings, special events, and seasonal campaigns
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, events, or a closely related role
- Demonstrated experience managing social media content and strategy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a B2B setting
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for event coverage and showcases
Expectations
- Attend a minimum of one must-see event per month to capture raw content
- Spend a minimum of 4 hours per week on-property to build local relationships
Compensation & Schedule
Salary Range: $40,000–$55,000 annually
Quarterly bonus opportunities based on performance and goals
Full-time, Exempt position
Flexible schedule with occasional evenings and weekends required for events and venue showcases
