About the role
We are seeking a Field Marketing Manager to build and scale our field marketing engine. This role is based in San Francisco and involves approximately 30% travel for national roadshow stops and select strategic and hosted programs.
Responsibilities
- Own Exa’s Roadshow Strategy
- Design and launch multi city roadshows aligned to priority accounts and industries
- Define positioning, audience strategy, and content tracks
- Build playbooks and templates for repeatable execution
- Establish a measurement framework including pipeline generated, influenced revenue, meetings set and held, and deal acceleration
- Continuously refine programs based on performance data and qualitative feedback
- Partner Closely with Sales
- Serve as the dedicated field marketing partner to Sales leadership and AEs
- Collaborate with Sales and SDRs to build invite lists and align on account strategy
- Enable day of coverage and ensure disciplined post event follow up
- Own executive dinners and curated hosted experiences that drive meaningful engagement
- Evaluate and Execute Strategic Events
- Research and recommend third party industry and AI focused conferences
- Ensure each sponsorship has a defined objective, audience strategy, and ROI target
- Manage execution from negotiation through onsite activation
- Partner with Sales, SDRs, Product Marketing, Brand, and Ops
- Translate business objectives into executable field programs
- Provide clear performance readouts and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS field marketing or event marketing experience
- Proven experience building roadshows or multi city programs from scratch
- Demonstrated ownership of pipeline outcomes in partnership with Sales
- Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex plans into actionable briefs
