About the Program
University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a passionate, mission-driven Licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our Family Treatment & Rehabilitation (FTR) program — a vital, community-based initiative funded by NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS). This is an opportunity to lead a team making a direct impact on child safety, family stability, and long-term well-being. Responsibilities
- Facilitate and/or participate in clinical meetings with staff, families, and/or ACS
- Facilitate family meetings, assess clinical needs, and make referral recommendations
- Provide direct supervision of staff; consultation to staff and colleagues as needed
- Develop and deliver trainings on mental health, substance use, and related topics
- Oversee referrals, assign cases, and ensure timely completion of clinical documentation
- Work closely with ACS, community providers, and internal teams to coordinate care
- Monitor key deliverables, charting requirements, and program quality indicators
Qualifications
- Master's required, doctoral degree preferred (Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling)
- Active NYS License required (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC; licensed or limited permit Psychologists)
- Experience working with families and/or child welfare systems
- Strong clinical assessment skills (mental health, substance use, family functioning)
- Excellent organizational and managerial abilities
- Collaborative, strengths-based mindset
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm; occasional evenings/weekends; periodic on-call coverage. Location: 334 E. 148th Street, Bronx NY 10451 (some travel may occur). Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
