What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and Vanir Project Managers across the assigned market, providing mentoring, interviewing crews, negotiating pricing, and enforcing quality, safety, and jobsite standards.
- Oversee construction projects end-to-end—from pre-construction through 100% completion—conducting site walks on all projects to ensure compliance with company, manufacturer, and client requirements.
- Serve as safety coordinator, performing OSHA inspections, documenting safety meetings, and ensuring all required safety and quality forms are completed for every job.
- Coordinate daily operations including scheduling deliveries, maintaining construction schedules (Primavera or equivalent), monitoring project software, and traveling between multiple job sites to resolve issues.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholders, reporting on project progress, P&L, delays, and cost overruns while maintaining profitability and on-time completion.
Required
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in construction project management for commercial or residential construction
- Location: Must relocate to within 45 miles of branch location before starting work (relocation assistance may be provided)
- License: Valid Driver's License (required with clean MVR for past 3 years)
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in person and via electronic devices
- Mobility: Ability to travel between multiple job sites daily
Preferred
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Leadership experience in a construction environment
- P&L Responsibility for multiple departments, divisions, or projects simultaneously
