Responsibilities
- Performing home maintenance tasks such as:
- HVAC filter changes
- Dryer vent cleaning
- Gutter and downspout clearing
- Basic exterior and interior maintenance tasks
- Light, non-licensed repairs within scope
- Meeting homeowners or property managers to confirm service details
- Completing work efficiently and professionally in occupied homes
- Documenting completed work with photos or brief notes when requested
- Communicating issues, scope questions, or unusual conditions
Qualifications
- Comfort working independently in occupied homes in a customer-facing role
- Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to represent HomeSmiles well and identify additional homeowner needs when appropriate
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working on ladders and outdoors
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and professionalism
- Clear communication and follow-through
- Prior experience in hands-on maintenance or trade-related work, especially in customer-facing environments, is helpful but not required
