Duties

• Collect data and prepare reports under direct supervision.
• Primary data collection consists of physical surveying of residential and commercial properties and interviewing residents.
• Additional duties may include:
• Inspect subject properties, neighborhoods, and markets.
• Research factual data respecting individual properties, neighborhoods, and markets.
• Research sale and rental transactions.
• Data entry into the computer system to maintain accurate listings.
• Prepare reports.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Construction, vertical, Drafting, Appraisal trainee, or real estate experience preferred.
• Ideal candidate will have preparatory appraisal course work related to the measuring/listing of structures and data collection for appraisals.

Licensing Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle is required (mileage will be reimbursed).

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machinery and equipment, including, but not limited to computers, calculators, facsimile machines, copiers, tape recorders, digital cameras, and telephones.
• Able to move or carry job-related objects or materials to 30 pounds in weight.
• Physically capable of reaching to obtain various books, printouts, file boxes, computer paper, etc.
• Legally and physically able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Able to walk, climb, and negotiate without mechanical assistance around properties and construction sites.
