About the role
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment across various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment independently
- Perform complete machine overhauls and minor repairs
- Order and install necessary parts
- Document work orders and track repair progress using Anderson’s systems
- Maintain safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year Technical degree or comparable military training
- At least 5 years of work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Demonstrated working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers
- Ownership of adequate hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License, CDL preferred
