Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments
• Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures
• Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients
• Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc
• Gain knowledge of AAA Northeast membership benefits to offer and sell to clients

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience: 2+ years Sales or customer service experience, Insurance sales experience preferred, Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: Must obtain Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days (training and exam fees covered by AAA Northeast), Life License preferred or obtained within 1 year

Sign-on Bonus

This position is eligible for a $2500 sign-on bonus! The bonus will be issued in two installments, the first after successful completion of 3 months of employment and the second after successful completion of 6 months of employment.
