Positon Summary A Field Specialist will install vehicle lifts and equipment within automotive service shops throughout the United States. Extensive team travel is required with per diem and hotel expenses paid. Mechanical ability and welding certifications are a plus! Essential Job Functions Include But Are Not Limited To Complete installation of automotive service center equipment to include:Catwalks, stairs, shelving, tool boards, podiums, and various other mounting hardwareAir tubing, air dryers, and compressors Pneumatic pumps and regulatorsBulk oil delivery systems including installation of tanks, piping, and metersAll fluid distribution systems consisting of bending pipe, and mounting in various capacitiesInspect equipment for proper operations and pressure testing systemsMaintain a safe, neat, and organized work areaPerform other related duties, task and responsibilities as requested Requirements Mechanically inclinedAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerAbility to easily adapt to change based upon customer and work schedule demandsWork well in a team environment and get along well with othersHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust be able to travel up to 90% to 95% of the time (transport provided) Installers will be away from home for 4 to 6 weeks at a time (during peak business seasons)Basic math and reading skillsPre-employment Drug Test Days and hours vary depending upon business needs and travel times.
