Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the direct reports assigned
- Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Able to work independently, with very little supervision
- Demonstrates the ability to supervise and mentor others
- Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line
- Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice
- Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity
- Be the projects “eyes and ears” for the management team
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment always
- Communicate all activity to the job Project Manager or Program Manager in a timely manner
- Must be willing to assist the Install team
- Ensure all UT and site-specific safety programs are followed
- Attend any product or safety training that is required
- Complete performance reviews of the team members
- Assist Program and Project Managers with weekly and monthly team supervisory duties. IE: Approval of timesheets, expenses, credit card reconciliation and PTO requests
- Identify and assess the strengths, abilities, and weaknesses of the team
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment
- Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority
- Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks
- Experienced in reading and comprehending engineered drawings
- Experienced in the marking up, or “red lining” of drawings post install
- Proficient in the use of a computer, with MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel skill sets
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well and interact with other UT employees as well as UT customers
- Strong work ethic and teamwork; “can do” attitude and desire to provide best service. Strong interpersonal and communicative Skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner
- Strong problem-solving skills
Pay Range
$75,000 - $110,000 USD
