Field Installation Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the direct reports assigned
• Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance
• Able to work independently, with very little supervision
• Demonstrates the ability to supervise and mentor others
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line
• Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice
• Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity
• Be the projects “eyes and ears” for the management team
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment always
• Communicate all activity to the job Project Manager or Program Manager in a timely manner
• Must be willing to assist the Install team
• Ensure all UT and site-specific safety programs are followed
• Attend any product or safety training that is required
• Complete performance reviews of the team members
• Assist Program and Project Managers with weekly and monthly team supervisory duties. IE: Approval of timesheets, expenses, credit card reconciliation and PTO requests
• Identify and assess the strengths, abilities, and weaknesses of the team

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority
• Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks
• Experienced in reading and comprehending engineered drawings
• Experienced in the marking up, or “red lining” of drawings post install
• Proficient in the use of a computer, with MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel skill sets
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well and interact with other UT employees as well as UT customers
• Strong work ethic and teamwork; “can do” attitude and desire to provide best service. Strong interpersonal and communicative Skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner
• Strong problem-solving skills

Pay Range

$75,000 - $110,000 USD
