Field Installation Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations across 10–20 active service jobs
- Troubleshoot issues in the field and remotely support technicians by phone
- Run service estimates and scope job requirements
- Cook up and schedule 1–2 person installation/service crews
- Source parts, materials, and equipment needed for repairs and installs
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving
- Solidify compliance with safety and industry standards (ADA, fire code, etc.)
- Partner closely with leadership during a 6-month training period
Required Experience
- Strong background in commercial door and gate service/installation
- Experience with a majority of the following systems: Automatic doors (SIG or similar), Storefront doors, Hollow metal doors, Solid core/wood doors, Overhead doors, Dock equipment, Gates and gate operators
- Prior proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field
- Experience running estimates and coordinating service work
- Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across all listed door and gate systems
- Prior leadership or crew supervision experience
- Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
