Field Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures Safety of Job #1.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures & Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Capable of conducting inspections independently.
• Performs fire alarm and sprinkler system tests and surveys; generates final report on status and recommendations.
• Communicate all changes in status on assigned work orders to Support Services.
• Interfaces with internal customers and external customers (as requested) to resolve conflicts relating to survey and report deliverables.
• Ensures inspections reports are completed accurately and on-time using Mobiliti; all IVR and payroll time entries are made on time and accurately.
• Identifies ways to improve productivity and quality in the delivery of our product/service.
• Identifies ways to reduce cost in the delivery of our product/service.
• Identifies training programs that could improve technical knowledge of the field staff and presents these to the Lead Field Engineer.
• Maintains test equipment in good working order and makes requests for replacement or acquisition of damaged or non-issued tools.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, licenses, and registrations required: As required by Jurisdiction
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
