Field Implementation Coach | San Dimas-Covina Territory
About the role
The Field Implementation Coach (FIC) role focuses on the adoption of State Farm marketing and technology processes to assist independent contract State Farm agents in reaching their objectives and enhancing the customer experience. The FIC will actively engage in ongoing face-to-face interactions with agents to directly influence the adoption of crucial capabilities and drive behavioral changes that align with our business priorities. Support and agent interactions will also be provided through computer/video and phone channels.
The Field Implementation Coach role is a remote proximity-based worker position which requires the selected candidate to work out of their home AND to reside within 30 minutes or 30 miles of the San Dimas-Covina Territory in California within six (6) months of their start date. Cities within this territory include San Dimas, Arcadia, Monrovia, Claremont, Glendora, and Covina. Relocation benefits do not apply.
State Farm provides a computer, cell phone, other equipment based on business need, as well as reimbursement for business mileage. The ability to work extended hours is required, and occasional overnight travel may be necessary. These requirements are subject to change based on business need.
Responsibilities
- Understand the needs of independent agents and maintain a high level of proficiency in influencing the adoption of marketing and technology processes with emphasis on leveraging digital tactics and tools.
- Execute activations and deployments with Sales Leaders, Market Area Executive Leadership, Go To Market, and other stakeholders to provide integrated technology and system consulting for agents and their team members.
- Provide expert coaching, demonstrate strong influence, and maintain a results-oriented approach.
- Continuously learn, adapt, and stay up to date with evolving processes and emerging technologies while maintaining technical expertise across various platforms and initiatives.
- Partner with field leaders to drive adoption of enterprise initiatives and market area priorities.
- Improve sales and office processes to align with Enterprise priorities and Agent goals by providing agent support with marketing and technology process strategies.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend tactics for agent selection and implementation to close those gaps.
- Demonstrate technical expertise regarding all technology platforms (e.g., ECRM (Salesforce), Agency Business System (ABS), Integrated Auto, Good Neighbor Connect) and influence early adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher-level education is desired.
- Understanding of the insurance industry, competitive environment, and business area-specific needs.
- Understanding of company operations and agency business practices and workflows.
- Understanding of State Farm marketing systems, digital marketing, product lines, and the agent office environment.
- Ability to learn web and non-web programs to drive adoption and use of new systems and processes.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, OneNote, Excel, and Word).
- Strong relationship-building skills and initiative with proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Enjoys working with others one-on-one and in group settings, both face-to-face and virtually, leveraging technological capabilities.
- Agency experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay
Potential starting salary range: $72,679.04 – $95,000. Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. The high end of the range is limited to applicants with significant relevant experience. Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary. Compensation is based on a standard 38:45-hour work week.
