Field Implementation Coach | San Dimas-Covina Territory
About the role
As a Field Implementation Coach (FIC) at State Farm, you will focus on the adoption of marketing and technology processes to assist independent contract State Farm agents in reaching their objectives and enhancing the customer experience. The role involves ongoing face-to-face interactions with agents to drive behavioral changes aligned with business priorities, as well as support via computer, video, and phone. The position requires occasional overnight travel and the ability to work extended hours based on business needs.
This is a remote proximity-based role, requiring you to work from home and reside within 30 minutes or 30 miles of the San Dimas-Covina Territory in California (cities include San Dimas, Arcadia, Monrovia, Claremont, Glendora, and Covina) within six months of your start date. State Farm provides necessary equipment (computer, cell phone, etc.) and reimburses business mileage.
Responsibilities
- Understand the needs of independent agents and influence the adoption of marketing and technology processes, with an emphasis on digital tactics and tools.
- Execute activations and deployments with Sales Leaders, Market Area Executive Leadership, Go To Market teams, and other stakeholders to provide integrated technology and system consulting for agents and their teams.
- Provide expert coaching, demonstrate strong influence, and maintain a results-oriented approach.
- Continuously learn, adapt, and stay updated with evolving processes and emerging technologies while maintaining technical expertise across platforms (e.g., ECRM/Salesforce, Agency Business System, Integrated Auto, Good Neighbor Connect).
- Partner with field leaders to drive adoption of enterprise initiatives and market area priorities.
- Improve sales and office processes to align with enterprise priorities and agent goals by identifying gaps and recommending tactics for implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher-level education (desired).
- Understanding of the insurance industry, competitive environment, and business area-specific needs.
- Familiarity with company operations, agency business practices, and workflows.
- Knowledge of State Farm marketing systems, digital marketing, product lines, and the agent office environment.
- Ability to learn web and non-web programs to drive adoption of new systems and processes.
- Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and reports.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Word).
- Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Comfort working one-on-one and in group settings, both in-person and virtually.
- Valid driver’s license (required to perform job duties).
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor work authorization (e.g., H-1B visa).

Pay
Potential starting salary range: $72,679.04 – $95,000. Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. The high end of the range is limited to applicants with significant relevant experience. Potential yearly incentive pay is up to 10% of base salary. Compensation is based on a standard 38:45-hour work week.
