Location: Remote-GA Working Hours DEUTZ is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative drive systems. Its core competences are the development, production, distribution and servicing of diesel, gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, stationary equipment, commercial vehicles, rail vehicles and other applications. Job Summary This role will positively influence and impact the organization by providing hands-on HR expertise and innovative solutions by partnering with business leaders to execute HR strategies in our service branches. Success in the position requires a track record of excellent judgment, a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, influencing skills, and results orientation. It is critical to gain the trust and respect of leadership and employees while pursuing positive organizational goals and objectives, and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both HR and staff at all levels of the organization. Essential Duties And Responsibilities The ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team of HR professionals in a high growth, rapidly changing environment.The ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.The desire and ability to be an influential and be credible HR leader within the team, including setting the tone and providing the necessary support, follow up, and leadership to ensure the team achieves desired results.Solutions focused and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.Maintain up to date knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees across different states/regions.Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates into open positions.Oversee the processing of all employment paperwork to include applicable background screening and other pre-employment activities.Manage annual performance management, merit and bonus processes, including providing training and support to functional leaders. Manage and administer exit processes and management of Exit Checklist Processes.Leads regional DOT onboarding compliance and maintenance with support for corporate office.Other Duties as assigned. Other Qualifications Outstanding service oriented with a sense of urgency to meet the needs of customers, employees, and suppliers.Strong problems solving skills with the ability to develop solutions to issues of moderate scope and complexity while utilizing best policies and practices for guidance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be a clear, concise, and persuasive communicator.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong understanding of ADP, Success Factors, and other HRIS software applicationsIntegrity: Establishes trust and deals with issues directly.Teamwork: Modifies personal style, focusing on the needs of others, and listening effectively to achieve a common goal.Change: Embraces and creates change. Supervisory Responsibility Individual Contributor Travel Requirements Anticipated local & domestic travel is up to 40% depending on business needs. Minimum Requirements 5 or more years of experience with broad knowledge of Human Resources functions preferred OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.Strong employee relation mindsetEffective self-management and development showing responsibility and accountability for growthProven organizational skills demonstrating effective planning, prioritization, and timely execution of workExcellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks under challenging circumstances.7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.Demonstrated experience partnering directly with business leaders and influencing decision-making.Strong employee relations, organizational development, and change management experience.Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Requirements Bachelors preferred with an emphasis in Human ResourcesHR Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an office. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.Daily concentration, sitting, communication, verbal, standing, hearing/listening, lifting and bending.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
