About the role
The Field HR Partner supports various industry groups and business lines in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego, Inland Empire, and Orange County).
Responsibilities
- Aligns business objectives with employees and front-line leaders in designated areas.
- Serves as a consultant to front-line leaders on human resource-related issues.
- Acts as an employee champion and change agent.
- Affirms HR-related needs and assesses them.
- Works collaboratively with HR centers of excellence to achieve talent goals.
- Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to front-line leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Partners with Talent Team to develop workforce plans that respond to current and future staffing needs.
- Partners with Learning & Development Team to ensure key programs are focused on front-line managers and team members.
- Identifies training needs for business and individual coaching needs.
- Partners with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver programs to meet organizational goals.
- Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Reviews key business performance targets and their related talent implications with business leaders.
- Identifies and drives the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Understands and mitigates corporate risk associated with relevant employment laws/policies.
- Partners with and maintains an effective matrix relationship with HR COE and Team Member Services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in Human Resources, business operations, or management.
- Experience working with union and non-union employees preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other HR initiatives and business strategy.
- Strong consultation and communication skills.
- Intellectual agility, interpersonal flexibility, and deep curiosity to learn.
- Exposure to strong process and project management discipline.
- Effective team player and networker.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand data to inform continuous improvement and inform decision making.
- Ability to implement innovative and practical solutions through a strong process and metrics focus.

Pay
$95,000–$110,000. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Schedule
This is a Hybrid Role (in-office or in-field Monday through Thursday) with up to 25% travel based out of either: 14201 Franklin Avenue, Tustin CA 927801150 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
