About the Role
As a Field Hospitality Porter with HUNGRY, you will play a key role in maintaining client relationships & ensuring overall account success. You'll be in an energetic environment where you'll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends, and meet new people every day.
Schedule
M-F 7am-2pm
What You'll Do
- Coffee Machine Services: Replenish coffee beans; reset waste bins, empty drip trays; maintain clean machines inside & out
- Inventory Tasks/Storage Room: Properly store inventory (dry goods vs refrigerated) using FIFO rotation; keep stockroom neat, take out trash, cardboard & recycling; make list of items needed for next delivery and submit before noon
- Water Machine Services: Empty drip tray, keep clean inside and out
- Snack & Fruit Services: Take note of low inventory items during morning setup; restock items with labels facing out, follow FIFO rotation; remove any expired products from the kitchens; distribute all fruit varieties to each kitchen, remove damaged fruit, sort properly for donations
- Expired Products: Return any expired products to the storage room to be counted; notify solutions desk of expired products, so they can be returned to warehouse
Requirements
- Ability to travel between multiple client sites and audit best practices at each location
- Previous Hospitality experience and proven track record of success
- Possess a current food handler card and understand basic food safety principles
- Meticulous, dependable, organized, forward thinking, initiative-taking, and approachable
- Careful understanding of products, allergens, and ingredients
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions & request clarification when needed
- Prepare coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques, use grinding and brewing equipment
- Ability to educate customers & answer coffee/food related questions
- Track inventory for snacks, drinks, coffee products
- Troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, assisting with performing preventive maintenance
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Have experience in client success, hospitality, or operations, and love building relationships with customers
- Consider yourself a "people person," and enjoy meeting others
