Field Enumerator - Richfield Utah, and Surrounding area

OTHR$18–$21/hrPart-time

About the Role

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association that represents the elected and appointed commissioners, secretaries, and directors of the departments of agriculture in all fifty states and four U.S. territories. Founded in 1916, its mission is to grow and enhance American agriculture through policies, partnerships, and public engagement. Since 1972, NASDA has employed enumerators to collect agricultural data on behalf of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).

NASDA is seeking a detail‑oriented, reliable, and motivated Field Enumerator to support data collection. The role offers flexible hours, the opportunity to work primarily from home (with an iPad provided), and the chance to engage with your local agricultural community. Field Enumerators interview farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses by phone or in person, conduct crop counts where applicable, record survey responses, mileage, expenses, and hours worked using an iPad, maintain clear and timely records, and represent NASDA professionally in all interactions. No two days are exactly the same, providing variety, independence, and community engagement.

The position is primarily remote with field travel required; candidates must reside in the Richfield, Marysvale, Salina, Gunnison, Ephraim, Circleville, Torrey, Monroe, Sevier or surrounding Utah areas.
