Our client, a leader in infrastructure and technical project support, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineering Manager to join their team in St. Francisville, Louisiana.

About the role

Serve as the primary technical resource for field teams across multiple active projects, ensuring successful execution and installation quality. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to validate constructability, identify risks, and ensure technical accuracy. Provide guidance and technical support to Field Superintendents, Foremen, and Leads throughout project execution. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, customers, and stakeholders on technical clarifications, revisions, and design changes. Support testing, system validation, commissioning activities, and project turnover processes to ensure operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for field teams across multiple active projects, ensuring successful execution and installation quality.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to validate constructability, identify risks, and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to Field Superintendents, Foremen, and Leads throughout project execution.

  • Support testing, system validation, commissioning activities, and project turnover processes to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field engineering, construction, or technical project support within data center, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, and documentation capabilities to manage multiple projects effectively.

Pay

$120,000 - $155,000
