About the Role
As a Field Engineering Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS Customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
- Lead over 15 direct reports in the day-to-day operations of the VLS production.
- Collaborate with GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop, and outside vendors/subcontractors.
- Drive schedules and manage the workforce to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
- Utilize VLS System Maintenance Technician to ensure the most current and correct VLS policies and procedures are being followed.
- Maintain an active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- 5+ years of related experience (10+ years of related experience preferred).
- Active Secret security clearance (must currently possess and be able to maintain).
- US citizenship required.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $143,750. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
