About the role
The Field Engineer position at Garney Construction acts as the bridge between the office engineers and the field teams, ensuring that projects meet engineering specifications and are executed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Survey and lay-out job sites.
- Process and review shop drawings.
- Update as-built documents.
- Audit completed construction.
- Complete daily and periodic report updates.
- Coordinate subcontractor work.
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Qualifications
- Entry-level project management experience.
- Knowledge of engineering specifications and construction practices.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
