Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance Tuesday-Friday 5AM - 3:30PM

Boehringer Ingelheim · St Joseph, MO · 1 mo ago
EngineeringFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The description includes a paragraph about company, but we need to follow rules: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Include a section only when posting has real, specific content for it. Do not repeat job title as heading. Do not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Preserve all substantive info. We need to parse the posting: It starts with "Description As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute..." That's generic company description. Then "Our global presence provides opportunity..." etc. Then "We realize that our strength..." etc. Then "Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect..." Then "The Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance will provide mechanical, technical, and hands-on maintenance support..." That's the role description. Then "Duties & Responsibilities" list. Then "Requirements" list. Then "Additional requirements include:" etc. Then "Eligibility Requirements:" etc. Then "Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities" then "Our Company Boehringer Ingelheim is a biopharmaceutical company..." then "Why Boehringer Ingelheim?" etc. We need to decide sections: Probably "About the role" (the initial description of role), "Responsibilities" (the Duties & Responsibilities), "Requirements" (the Requirements and Additional requirements), maybe "Qualifications" (but we can combine with Requirements). "Skills" maybe from Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities. "Benefits" maybe from "Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect..." but not specific details; we should not create Benefits section unless posting actually states them. It mentions competitive compensation and benefit programs but no specifics; that is vague, maybe we should not create Benefits because it's not specific. The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It states "Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees." That's still vague, not specific like health insurance, 401k, etc. Likely we should not create Benefits section. Pay and Schedule also not stated. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills (maybe). Also maybe "Qualifications" but we can incorporate into Requirements. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to preserve all substantive info. So we need to include the description paragraphs about the role, the duties list, the requirements list, eligibility, desired skills, company overview, why Boehringer Ingelheim? The latter might be considered "About the company" but not a specified heading. We could put that under "About the role" or maybe a separate section "About the company". But the allowed headings list includes only those specific ones; we should not create other headings. So we need to fit that content into existing allowed headings. Perhaps we can put company overview under "About the role" as part of role description. Or we could omit it? But we must preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot omit. So we need to include it somewhere. Could we include it as a

under a heading like "About the role"? That seems acceptable: the heading "About the role" can contain description of role and company overview. The rule: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have those headings. We'll include About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills. Possibly also Qualifications if we separate but we can combine. We need to ensure we don't create headings with filler. So we will output:

About the role

... (the description paragraphs about role and company)

Responsibilities

  • ... each duty

Requirements

  • ... each requirement

Skills

  • ... desired skills etc
We need to include eligibility requirements within Requirements? Probably yes. We need to ensure we don't repeat job title as heading. Not. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. The posting didn't have explicit application instructions but there is "Learn more at www.boehringer-ingelheim.com" and "Want to learn more? Visit https://www.boehringer-ingelheim.com". That's maybe boilerplate; we should remove navigation/link? It's not exactly boilerplate but could be considered promotional. The rule: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "Learn more at ..." and "Want to learn more? Visit ..." could be considered navigation/promotional; but they are part of the description. Might be considered boilerplate? Not sure. Safer to keep them? The instruction says remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning boilerplate. The "Learn more at ..." is not exactly those categories, but could be considered navigation. I'd lean to remove them as they are not substantive job info. However, they might be considered part of company description. But we already have company overview; we can keep the descriptive sentences about Boehringer Ingelheim (the paragraph about being a biopharmaceutical company, etc.) and remove the explicit URLs. Thus we will keep the descriptive sentences about Boehringer Ingelheim being a biopharmaceutical company, independent since 1885, etc., and the "Why Boehringer Ingelheim?" paragraph (which is promotional but maybe substantive about culture). Might be considered boilerplate? It's about culture and benefits; could be considered part of "Why Boehringer Ingelheim?" which is like marketing. The rule says remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning boilerplate. This is not exactly those; it's more about company culture. I'd keep it as part of About the role. Thus About the role paragraph will combine: - As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. Our global presence provides opportunity for all employees to collaborate internationally, offering visibility and opportunity to directly contribute to the companies' success.
