What You Will Be Doing
- Mets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Captures, coordinates, and analyzes shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data throughout the project duration to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provides technical input for project work plans and schedules.
- Identifies potential risks affecting the budget or schedule and evaluates daily production, schedule, and budget projections to track project performance accurately.
- Documents daily activities using approved methods and technologies.
- Remits accurate project quantity inputs and controls using assigned project cost coding to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
- Manages cost coding with company finance and accounting teams regarding employee time, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs.
- Reviews and approves daily timecards for all company construction crews.
- Works with office manager, payroll, and job construction supervisors to address timecard inquiries as needed.
- Reviews project specifications for quality assurance at various stages of the project.
- Initiates and manages necessary certificates, inspections, and other documentation related to construction production on-site.
- Collaborates with construction crews and engineering leaders to plan field layouts, marking utility and commercial lines before production starts.
- Manages permits required before work commences.
- Aids in the development of design drawings and offers technical input as needed.
- Coordinates subcontractor work methods, schedules, and crews as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in construction engineering required.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawing, specifications, building materials, and applicable project standards.
- Ability to take on responsibilities, interface effectively with others, and communicate effectively.
Pay
Salary range: USD $74,000.00 - USD $78,000.00/Yr.
