About the role

TurbineOne is a fast-moving startup focused on enhancing situational awareness for national security customers. The Frontline Perception System (FPS) is an edge-first software platform designed for non-technical users to build and use machine learning models in a tactical environment. This role requires a Field Engineer who can integrate FPS with existing systems and provide hands-on support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 50% of the year to deploy and integrate FPS with customer systems.
  • Understand and tailor integration solutions for customer needs.
  • Write scripts and develop integration processes for FPS.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and provide recommendations for integration strategies.
  • Create detailed plans and documentation for integration and deployment.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Iterate on integration processes and FPS capabilities based on customer feedback.
  • Resolve technical issues promptly during integration and deployment phases.

On a Typical Day

  • Provision and configure FPS deployments for engagements.
  • Meet with customers to gather and understand their integration needs.
  • Design and document tailored integration processes.
  • Write scripts to route data from FPS to client systems.
  • Deploy and configure FPS on-site.
  • Train customer teams on using FPS.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine FPS based on field experiences.
  • Resolve technical issues during integration and deployment.

  • Experience in system integration, especially in defense-related industries.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and networking principles.
  • Proven experience in integrating complex systems and excellent communication skills.

The base salary range for this role is $130,000–$185,000, with actual compensation determined by experience, skills, and geographic location.
