Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projects
• Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks
• Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
• Conducting constructability review
• Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar
• 2+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
• Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
• Excellent communication skills and work ethic
• OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track Training

Pay

Expected salary range is $72,800 - $124,800 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
