Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Reviews and understands project specifications, contract drawings, geotechnical baseline reports, and requirements.
• Ensures resources are available to meet project needs.
• Conducts pile load tests and/or other Quality Assurance/Quality Control tasks as required.
• Captures, communicates, and maintains documentation for production targets and goals on a daily and weekly basis.
• Performs data monitoring and collection tasks involving automated computer/software systems if applicable; compiles and prepares data reports.
• Works with Project Manager to track and log any changes to the project.
• Affirmatively identifies changes that need to be escalated to the Project Manager.
• Participates in pre-planning and toolbox meetings.
• Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements.
• Logs all quality nonconformance issues and notifies management for resolution.
• Exercises stop work authority for Safety and Quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills necessary.
• Willingness to travel.
