Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in compiling project close-out/operation and maintenance manuals.
• Support Project Managers with document control and Procore updates.
• Contribute to process improvements by sharing best practices and training staff.
• Create and maintain the Contract Document Log.
• Initiate, organize, and attend project meetings.
• Ensure proper bid documents are sent to bidders and plan rooms.
• Maintain construction documents.
• Manage the CBI report and ensure all insurance is up to date.
• Handle Requests for Information (RFI), Submittals, Drawing Logs, and other management tasks.
• Respond to pay requests, change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and purchase orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of construction experience or a construction graduate.
• Basic MEP knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• LEED AP and OSHA 10 Hour a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Mainly works in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions.
• Requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting.
• May involve standing or sitting for prolonged periods, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling light to moderate amounts of weight.
• Requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination.
• Involved in verbal communication to exchange information.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and travel from site to site.
