Responsibilities
- Aid in compiling project close-out/operation and maintenance manuals.
- Support Project Managers with document control and Procore updates.
- Contribute to process improvements by sharing best practices and training staff.
- Create and maintain the Contract Document Log.
- Initiate, organize, and attend project meetings.
- Ensure proper bid documents are sent to bidders and plan rooms.
- Maintain construction documents.
- Manage the CBI report and ensure all insurance is up to date.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFI), Submittals, Drawing Logs, and other management tasks.
- Respond to pay requests, change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and purchase orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of construction experience or a construction graduate.
- Basic MEP knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Valid Driver's License Required.
- LEED AP and OSHA 10 Hour a plus.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
- Mainly works in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions.
- Requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting.
- May involve standing or sitting for prolonged periods, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling light to moderate amounts of weight.
- Requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination.
- Involved in verbal communication to exchange information.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and travel from site to site.
