Field Engineer

About the role

The Field Engineer position at Garney acts as the bridge between the office engineers and the field team, ensuring that projects meet engineering specifications and are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Survey and lay-out job sites.
• Process and review shop drawings.
• Update as-built documents.
• Audit completed construction.
• Complete daily and periodic report updates.
• Coordinate subcontractor work.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level project management experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
