About the role
The Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of foundation equipment at various job sites across the Gulf Coast.Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of foundation equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers and quality control personnel
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Document work activities and report findings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foundation engineering or construction
- Proficient in using industry-standard equipment and software
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles
- Experience with deep foundation methods such as pile driving, caisson, and grouting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of project management tools and software
- Good understanding of environmental regulations and permits
