What You’ll Do
- Congduct equipment commissioning, calibration, and functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug industrial control systems, including sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and related components
- Respond to field service calls and resolve technical issues on-site
- Assist with mechanical installation and start-up of new systems at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance, system audits, and support upgrade projects
- Interface directly with customers, providing technical guidance and training as needed
- Work closely with project management and engineering to ensure successful installs
- Document service activities and maintain detailed reports
- Travel up to 75% (domestic, with occasional international opportunities)
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in field service, electrical/controls work, mechanical assembly, or equipment commissioning
- Familiarity with industrial controls (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Master Electrician license preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in the field
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Must live within 1 hour of a major or regional airport
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
