Field Construction Manager (NY)

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct and indirect inspections to various Electric Utility Construction projects to meet client needs.
• Oversee contractor construction activities on behalf of the Owner to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications, safety and environmental regulations, and Company requirements.
• Cook up onsite work activities with Company operations, and other projects.
• Coordinate on-site work documentation and communications in support of the overall Construction Manager, Project Manager, and/or the Owner.
• Coordinate and manage on-site work documentation and communications in support of the overall Construction Manager, Project Manager, and/or the Owner.
• Develop and maintain as-built documentation.
• Monitor schedule and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Be onsite whenever work of any nature is being performed.
• Show willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments throughout the industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field - Preferred
• 4+ Years of Electric Transmission, Distribution or Substation experience - Required
• OSHA 10 or 30 - Preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Required
• Valid Driver's License in accordance with our Driver Safety Manual - Required
• Computer skills Word, Excel, Outlook - Required
• Working knowledge Electric Utility Industry - Required
• Willingness to travel - Required
• Strong verbal and written communications skills - Required
