Field Construction Manager - Hydro (NY)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager for day-to-day operations
• Assure contractor obligation and adherence to design plans, change orders, RFIs, MOC, etc.
• Document contractor day to day activities
• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project
• Applies the requirements of the project specific safety program to promote overall compliance of health and safety standards, applicable regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project
• Keeps written/photographs and records onsite to adequately document project to client standards
• Ensures installation is in accordance with utilities Construction Standards, O/M Manual, Federal and State law, and Industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field - Preferred
• 4+ Years of Electric Generation, Transmission, Distribution or Substation experience - Required
• OSHA 10 or 30 - Preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Required
• Valid Driver's License in accordance with our Driver Safety Manual - Required
• Computer skills Word, Excel, Outlook - Required
• Working knowledge Electric Utility Industry - Required
• Strong verbal and written communications skills - Required
