Field Construction Manager
About the role
EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm dedicated to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm comprises engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities around us.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
- Cook up with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve field issues.
- Maintain construction progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Review contractor schedules, maintain project documentation, and prepare field reports.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress.
- Support overall project delivery through effective field coordination and construction management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction inspection and/or construction management experience.
- Experience on K-12 school, educational, or public building projects in New Jersey.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
- Must reside in New Jersey.
- Experience with New Jersey school construction projects is required.
Pay
Estimated Annual Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 annually
