Field Communications Technician I (Starlink, Networking & Remote Systems)

What You Will Do

• Assist with installation and deployment of Starlink, LTE, and networking systems
• Support rig-ups, rig-downs, and jobsite equipment moves
• Install and troubleshoot internet, camera, and remote monitoring systems
• Provide basic field-level technical support to teams and customers
• Auxiliary support for configuring routers, switches, access points, and modems
• Support setup of cameras and remote monitoring equipment
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on communications equipment
• Maintain company vehicle logs and perform inspections
• Complete work orders, inventory tracking, and service documentation
• Monitor equipment status using cloud-based systems

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• EnGenius Certified Network Specialist certification
• One year of technical or hands-on team experience (preferred)
• Experience with telecom, satellite, networking, or cabling (plus)

Skills and Traits

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Interest in networking, satellite systems, or field technology
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Comfort working outdoors in changing conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Travel Requirements

• Travel is required for this role
• Overnight and multi-day trips will occur

Work Environment

• Outdoor jobsite work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to heat, cold, wind, dust, and noise
• Physically active role including lifting, climbing, and standing
